<p>Personally I highly recommend it over Vista and especially XP. There are a ton of huge improvements, and small tweaks to enhance the experience.</p>
<p>Still, you should form your own opinion.</p>
<p>I always like to start from the <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/default.aspx" rel="nofollow">manufacturer's own promo page</a>. They give you a good idea of the biggest features of the OS.</p>
<p>Then, after you know what the main features are, it's time to research whether they work as advertised. This is a great link which aggregates a lot of the major reviews: <a href="http://gizmodo.com/5387822/27-takes-on-windows-7" rel="nofollow">27 Takes on Windows 7</a>.</p>
<p><em>As a side note, Windows 7 has been reviewed time and again and many have declared it as the <strong>best operating system Microsoft has ever shipped</strong>. Ever.</em></p>
