Very important (just looked into google sites) I need to be able to upload files,company owners will want to upload their companies profiles/documents, images - logos.And I can't afford dabbledb or any other paid services.I can host site myself but just had no programming skills.

Problem with Google Sites is that I can't find a way to allow users to upload their data,and I'm still not sure if there is some prices for google sites or any limitations etcIs it really free?

Problem with MyTaskHelper is that I can't find any feedback on it,looks like it can fit my needs, but I can't imagine that this can be really alternative to Google?

Last update from conversation we found that google sites doesn't allow file field on their List page...so it looks like I have only one Free option to use http://mytaskhelper.com

but can anyone suggest it to me before I can use it? Probably any other new thoughts?

Latest update: we finally found that for now http://mytaskhelper.com looks like the only one free way which fits my needs, so I'll give it a try and will keep you posted if something!

Urgently: How I can build small site without any web development skills?

Hi, guys

I want to create my own site. It should has online database of companies.

First page: Form for adding companies, with upload company files and logos fields this form will have such fields:

  • company name
  • upload company logo
  • address
  • web-site
  • additional info
  • upload your profile in .doc

Second page: the list of added companies with ability to see their logos and download their files.

Any suggestions how to do it? I don't know web programming frameworks, can I use any site builders?

I was looking in IRC channels in #perl, #ror, #php but had no much luck and some guy suggested to ask here..

I have a short deadline so any help much appreciated
