Hallo,

i've got some dvds that were recorded on a dvd recorder.
I can not read those dvds on windows PCs (i tried multiple PCs).
The properties of the discs say that the filesystem of the disc is RAW and i think that is the reason why windows does not read the disc.

If that is true, what can i do to read the dvds ?
Or what else could be the problem ?

EDIT:
The windows PCs i tried play back regular DVDs without any problem,
and the "RAW" dvds recorded with the dvd recorder will not play on a standalone dvd player.

Thank you!

Does the DVD recorder have an option to "finalize" the disc, or anything similar, to make it readable on other players? – coneslayer Apr 2 '10 at 17:52
comment from davr: Answer these three questions please: (1) What DVD recorder did you use? (2) Can you play the DVDs in a standalone DVD player? (3) Can you play normal video DVDs in your windows PC? ... That should hopefully give enough information for someone to help you. – quack quixote May 9 '10 at 6:10
