How do I get Firefox to reopen the browser in the state I left it, i.e. all the same tabs.

I use Tab Mix Plus to do exactly this. When I close Firefox, it opens exactly the same way; same tabs, same scroll positions; if I have forms partially filled out, they come back, too. Everything. I even turned off all the prompting (save this session?) so I can just open-close-open the browser exactly like I left it.

Firefox has it's own session manager to do some of this...

Tools > Options > General
When firefox Starts: (select) Show my windows and tabs from last time

...but Tab Mix Plus adds so much more.

If you are using a recent version of Firefox, in Tools > Options > General > Startup > When Firefox starts select "Show my windows and tabs from last time".

Thanks. My 'General' is called 'Main'. – Lance Roberts Jan 27 '10 at 16:39
