I've had my HP Pavilion dv5t for about 1 year and 3 months (just past the warranty) and am experiencing some major monitor issues. At pretty much every angle past about 60 degrees, the entire screen turns white. It's almost as if something is getting pinched.

Has anybody had any problems with this sort of thing? Any suggestions?

Thanks, Jack

Are you playing a lot? Sometimes, this screen is over-heating quickly. Is it hot? – r0ca Feb 4 '10 at 15:44
I don't use the computer for any gaming. I use it for pretty long hours programming and some light-to-mid graphics (I ran a 100 MB .fla file for 10 hours a day for two months at the end of last year, which would have been the most intense usage). The screen is a little hot (I've ad it on for about an hour today, but experienced the problem beginning as soon as I woke the computer up this morning from sleep) – jchapa Feb 4 '10 at 15:49
