In short, I tried installing Windows 7 to a .vhd file, but failed after the expanding files stage. Now I want to open that VHD using Virtualbox and install Windows 7 again into that. I want to use the same VHD. Can someone please suggest what to do or point to a link.
EDIT: Currently because the installation failed, VirtualBox does nothing, only a cursor keeps blinking. Even when I tell it I want to boot from a floppy, and I have already assigned that floppy to point to USB drive containing Windows 7 installation, the cursor just keeps blinking, without anything happening
EDIT: Got hold of a DVD and managed to begin the install in Virtualbox. However, I am again stuck after the expanding files stage. The VirtualBox screen shows a cursor, thats it.
