What is the best software to help record the audio of MagicJack? I would love to record audio off of conference calls.

This question is for both Windows and Mac operating systems.

On a windows machine, you should be able to record audio directly off the wav device. Try http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ . Should work fine.

On the Mac, WireTap should do exactly what you are asking.

For anyone who may be reading this post. The first answer which recommends the use of Audacity available on sourceforge is incorrect. Audacity will only record what goes through the microphone on your magic jack handset, hence, you will not be able to hear the person you are talking to in your recordings, only yourself. It does not record what is heard through the ear piece, making it entirely useless for conducting telephone interviews. The second recommendation, for vEmotion, works but comes with a price tag.

Try vEmotion. It's a cool program that records all kinds of VOIP calls. Easy to get started.
