Possible Duplicates:
Determining the best value of an old computer.
What to do with old (example: 7+ years) PCs?

What do you do with your old computers, cellphones, broken cameras & other electronic stuff that's pretty much useless?

I know recycling e-waste is an option but are there other ideas/ways?

For example: a digital camera with a broken circuit but everything else is in perfect health including the lens. Can anything be reused? How do we go about this?

I normally see if I can sell them on ebay. You'd be surprised what people will buy. Normally it's people who have another broken part in a similar system which they can then fix by scavenging from yours.

On the flip side, you can trawl ebay and look for old/broken systems which you can use to repair your own broken device...

edit:

I've sold a few broken mobile phones and laptops before for example. People wanted them for hard to source parts like the batteries
