I'm trying to find a ebook reader that can do the following:

1) read my doc, pdf files 2) preferably a mp3 player in it 3) surf the web via wi-fi (no 3g necessary) but a actual browser so i can get my google reader and e-mail 4) bigger end screen so it feels like a book 5) preferably running on android so other apps can be downloaded

Anybody know of any that match these?

You sound like an iPad candidate... (except for the android requirement)

There should be a whole swathe of ebook readers and tablets coming out in the next few months. If you can bear to wait, just hang on for a bit and you'll be spoiled for choice!

Barnes & Noble's nook meets most of your requirements. It's based off of Android, but to enable web surfing, google reader, and gmail, you have to hack it (which is actually extremely easy).

NookDevs.com has all the information you need to hack a nook and add your own Android applications. NookDevs are also writing specific applications designed for the nook, including a Google Reader application.
