I recently installed ubuntu 9.10 inside windows xp through wubi installation. How do I get to have a graphic driver for it? Because its very bright. I tried to see if there is any graphic driver from intel's site(download center) but those drivers are only for windows. And when I use the automatic detection of drivers from their site. I can only see an endless progress bar which is really non sense. Its better that they remove stuff that aren't working.

the link, its for nvidia. Mine is intel. And I don't see any relevant answer to that question. – Ieyasu Sawada Feb 26 '10 at 22:56
AFAIK, drivers for Intel are built-into the kernel, unless you have a fancy new series (ie: GMA4500 / GMA HD present in the Core ix series). Which model of the IGP do you have ? – Sathya Feb 26 '10 at 23:32
is it the g31 +1ch7 chipset.dont really know what IGP is – Ieyasu Sawada Feb 26 '10 at 23:54
Pardon me, IGP = Integrated Graphics processor, it should show up something like GMA xxxx series. – Sathya Mar 1 '10 at 15:56
