Is there an app that can turn a notification into an alarm? With my iPod Touch i don't always hear notifications and if I don't hear it the first time it will not remind me again. Is there any way to have the notifications bug me until I turn it off? Something like the alarm they have on the standard iPod.

You mean something like Task Alerts?

Task reminder categories include:

  • To Do (ex. Renew passport)
  • Home (ex. Turn off gas)
  • Work (ex. Request time off)
  • School (ex. Contact teachers)
  • Shop (ex. Buy new luggage)
  • And anything else you wish to set-up automated alert reminders
  • Also, set up repeating alerts for each task and specific sounds to your tasks

Warning: that uses push alerts, which is fine, but if you go out of network range, you won't get alerts. Nothing wrong with that, just something to be aware of. – Michael Kohne Jun 25 '10 at 2:45
