My problem is simple: I have a google account that I use for EVERYTHING, but I need a new email address to give to people (a nicer one). How can I keep using my google account? I could

  1. forward from the new gmail account and change the sent by field in the old one
  2. use pop retrieval form my old gmail account (It's slow)
  3. Any other idea? Is there any way to "link" to google accounts? I have a google apps domain, too... can that be of any use?

I actually use google apps(http://www.google.com/apps/) for which you can use your own domain name. I then forward all email to this account including my existing google account email.
