Snippets collection tool for Windows?

Question

I'm looking for a good Snippets collection on Windows. It's hard to just save them in files

I think this is already covered by superuser.com/questions/4549/what-is-your-notes-taking-tool.
@Fake: Snippets like snippets of code or text that is often used multiple times in projects and on certain files. I have a snippet that is a standard XHTML Strict header for example.
I've tried using Note taking tools as snippets manager but it doesn't work with me :) The lack of highlighting, simple from it :)

i keep all my snippets on gist.github.com
