I know that question has been asked many times but I have tried all the solutions that I've seen but with no further success.

When I open internet explorer it simply stops working directly, reopens the first and only tab 3 times and then stops and shows a message that IE could not show the web page(www.google.com). So it does not hang, it simply shows a standard IE error page

I have uninstalled flash player. Reset IE. Tried to close as many processes I can. Ran spybot S&D. Started IE without addonds

Please add more details: Which tab does it reopen? Does it load a particular page into the tab? And when you say "stops", does it stop loading data, does it freeze, or does it close the window and terminate? – njd Mar 22 '10 at 10:02

other browsers (FFox, Chrome, etc) can load the internet ? – mgpyone Mar 22 '10 at 12:30
Yep. The problem is that the user constantly uses our outlook web access which only works fully in IE – user31623 Mar 22 '10 at 12:35
