I have a full HD TV which has only 2 HDMI ports on it. Since I have more than 2 devices I connect to TV (e.g. laptop, game console, DVD player), it becomes uncomfortable to plug in and plug out HDMI cables every time I need to use the relevant device.

I need a cheap solution to increase the number of my HDMI ports at least to 3. What type of splitter/switch do you recommend? Does the quality of splitter matter, or do they all produce the same audio & video quality?

HDMI Splitters can be found at all good electronics shop. It doesn't change the sound or picture quality because it's just a simple redirection. But, please make sure it support HDMI 1.3b to avoid HDCP issue with your TV/Devices.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. So I will be careful about the 1.3b feature. – Mehper C. Palavuzlar Mar 24 '10 at 12:38
