Windows equivalent to iPad calendar?

Question

Are there any calendars for Windows that come close to the iPad calendar UI sweetness? I'm tempted to get an iPad solely for the calendar app, but would love a Windows alternative if I can find one...

VueMinder Calendar has a really slick user interface. It comes in both Lite (free) and Pro versions and integrates an interactive semi-transparent calendar into the Windows desktop.

It also has a main window that allows different view types (day, week, month, year, timeline, list) to be arranged for simultaneous display by simply dragging tabs around the window. It's a very nice design and I highly recommend it.

iCalendar Lite- would work. They also have a standard version.

Outlook probably does everything the iPad calendar can do and would be cheaper than buying an iPad.

However it depends which part of the iPad calendar app really interests you?
