How can I use nmap (port scanning utility) on the Android SDK emulator in Windows?

I am trying to install a port scanner on Android SDK which is installed on Ubuntu. I have two problems:

  • How do I install any Linux application on Android SDK?
  • How do I copy the data from the local hard drive to the emulator?

ok, i've cleaned up the English a bit, hopefully reads a bit better now, but you mention both windows and ubuntu. are you actually running the SDK on ubuntu or do you just mention it because nmap is a linux/unix utility? – quack quixote Apr 18 '10 at 0:31

run this from SD slot http://www.rmccurdy.com/nmap.sh

usage:

bash -x /sdcard/nmap.sh 127.0.0.1

you MUST use -oA or you will get no output I think ... I was the first to compile nmap but Nmap for Android took it to next level ... this is his current binaries in the (raw folder) wjholden
