I am using Ubuntu hardy with Scalr and AWS, the Ubuntu instance does not come with any antivirus software. Can anyone recommend a good ant-virus software for Ubuntu?

I would also need installation and config steps.

@tegbains. Thanks. I installed by using the following commands: apt-get install clamav, and apt-get install clamav-daemon When I use command 'freshclam', I get the notification that clamav is outdated:Local version: 0.95.3 Recommended version: 0.96 Question is why didn't apt-get install command got the most up to date version? – April Apr 26 '10 at 8:31
@April: For each Ubuntu version, they pick a major version of a software and stay with that version until the end, backporting patches if necessary. They may add add additional versions, but they usually never replace a package with a newer "major" version. – Dan Andreatta Apr 26 '10 at 8:51
