My current favorite technology podcasts are TWiT (This Week in Tech) and Security Now!, but I'd like to have a little more to listen to.

I've taken a look (listen?) at Diggnation, but never really got into it. What technology podcasts should I check out?

This is a subjective question. Shouldn't this be a community wiki? – spoulson Jul 15 at 17:41

Obvious answer: the Stack Overflow podcast.

I also listen to Citizen Garden (although it's been dead for a while) and Hanselminutes.

Of course, I keep hearing about it but never remembered to check it... – chills42 Jul 15 at 12:59

The good thing about the SO podcast is the lack of stupid music or presenter-esque rubbish. They don't think they are tv hosts and they sell it on the content, which is excellent. – Damien Jul 17 at 21:35

I really like .NET Rocks! which is software developer focused if that's what you're looking for, although they do mix it up with other topics, there's also dnrTV by the same team but is a video podcast.

+1 for RunAs Radio as well.

Software engineering radio can be good. There are some gems in the backlog.

RunasRadio is interesting if a little bit "sponsored" sounding.

Check out all the shows at Revision3. My favorites (other than Diggnation) are Hak5, Scam School (non-tech) and The Digg Reel. Also from Rev3, I'm just getting into Film Riot.

If you like TWiT, you'll like Cranky Geeks.

TWiG This Week in Google is new and seems to be pretty good so far. They breach a lot of "cloud" topics that is not exclusively Google stuff.

Windows Weekly is also another good one from the TWiT family.

Shameless plug, CastRoller is a podcast management site that will give you podcast recommendations based on what you already like.

There is also a list of great development podcasts here

The PC Pro Podcast is an excellent half-hour of tech banter with a UK slant (PC Pro is a monthly UK magazine).

This Week in Science This is not tech related, but it's quite informative and entertaining.

The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe examines developments in science (and technology, somewhat).

This isn't technical, but I've found EconTalk to be a valuable resource in understanding politics and economics. The host is an Austrian (libertarian) but he interviews non-libertarians in a way designed to elicit their expert understanding (as opposed to any polemic purposes). There's more to the world than tech.
