Is there a software to convert a human photo to a Simpsons character?

That is a really interesting question. I'm getting curious. – petersohn May 4 '10 at 18:36
Yes. It's called Photoshop. Or GIMP if you swing that way. – Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams May 4 '10 at 18:37

Well, Photoshop and GIMP could work if you are a Simpsons artist... Otherwise, something else is required ;--) Cool question, BTW... – nicorellius May 4 '10 at 18:52

There's a website for it - but it seems to be down at the moment.

That's where I did mine, BTW. – Isxek May 4 '10 at 18:40
I've found the original SWF but it seems not to work: simpsonizeme.com/poc/simpsonize_main.swf – Mehper C. Palavuzlar May 17 '10 at 12:47
How does it not work? Did you follow the instructions for uploading the photo (only colored photos, 640x480 resolution, JPEG/PNG formats only, etc.)? – Isxek May 17 '10 at 14:21
Hm. Uploading a simple photo is taking forever. Looks like whatever script(s) they had set up there before is not working anymore. – Isxek May 17 '10 at 14:38
Looks like it was done as a promotional gimmick for the movie. And because the movie is not in cinemas anymore, they don't care about maintaining this promo. it's probably gone for good. – Torben Gundtofte-Bruun Aug 9 '10 at 6:53

Search for "Simpsons avatar" and you will find a few others besides simsonizeme. Try this one: http://www.milkandcookies.com/link/41026/detail/
