I am on a Win7 64 Enterprise machine. My machine has connectivity, everything is fine except for VS2008. It can't get news feeds or more importantly connect to TFS. Has anyone ever seen this?

Check firewall and proxy settings.

Turns out it was a faulty setting in my machine.config
