I have a set of XETB1001 and a set of XAVB101, I want to use the set of XAVB101 because they are 200mbps and 1 XETB1001, is that possible, or do I need to keep them paired?

Provided they both implement the same Homeplug standard, then yes.

How could I find that out? – Tyler May 7 '10 at 5:03
Google. I had a quick look at it seems they are "HomePlug Compatible". I think HomePlug has two standards though. – ta.speot.is May 7 '10 at 8:38

I have a similar situation: I have 2 pairs of HomePlug equipment, and I'm trying to make them work together. If I plug them all on the outlets, shouldn't I be able to network the four equipments that connect to them?
