So I've seen some posts on what free anti-virus software is available for Mac. But is there any paid anti-virus software that is better than those that are free?

@iDevlop They did have viruses (according to Wikipedia). They do not have viruses (according to Apple Marketing). They will have viruses (according to me). I'm preparing for the past... or the future. – waiwai933 May 10 '10 at 22:57

@Charles I accept answers when I have tested the solution. When I try the various anti-viruses, I will accept the answer with the one I choose. – waiwai933 May 15 '10 at 1:07

Kaspersky has a Mac version, but didn't test it. I have Norton Antivirus, I can say it has a bad influence on disk I/O performance so I don't recommend it.

Beyond what has been mentioned so far (Kaspersky, Norton), there are a couple other options out there, but I am not sure how they compare to the free options.
