I have a Flip UltraHD, and I'd like to find alternatives to the included FlipShare software. I want to download videos from the Flip hardware and remove videos from the Flip's memory. A Mac version would be great, but not essential.

You can use Givit as an alternative recommended by Flipshare themselves if you want you videos to be available for more than 30 days online. Givit imports all your pictures and videos for you. |

you can actually remove the videos manually from the camera however it requires the codec that gets included in the installation of flipshare for the video to work properly. I have a colleague currently working on extracting the codec to work without the software. if you like send me a PM with your email and i will forward you the codec at least this way you can just copy the videos out and then re-encode into a standard format. |
