How to use and set oem-banner and oem-logo on Mac OS X

Question

When I run

$ sudo nvram -p | sort

I get four values called oem-banner, oem-banner?, oem-logo and oem-logo?.

How can I set all of these (especially the oem-logo), and what impact would they have? Like, where and when do they show up if anywhere?

	That mentions just the oem-banner one, and I can't see that text showing up anywhere during the booting. Where is it supposed to show up? (Other than when running `nvram -p`... – Svish May 14 '10 at 16:53
	They're firmware settings. They're not going to show up when you're booting normally. – Hasaan Chop May 14 '10 at 21:30
