Firefox crashes when trying to print on Mac. How can I fix this?

I'm using FF 3.0.12 on an intel based iMac, but I know this problem has been there for a while. Does anyone know if there's a fix for this? Thank you.

I'd try safari, if safari doesn't crash then I would assume that it is a problem with Firefox.

I'd remove and reinstall the latest version of Firefox.

If the problem is still there then I'd remove Firefox and try an old version.

After that, if the problem is still there I'd check for a similar bug on the Firefox bug database.

If safari crashes as well i'd try a different printer and start looking into using different printer drivers.
