I am using a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.5. I am new to this development environment, and previously worked on Windows.
Can anyone recommend an easy to use GUI-based and free FTP client for my platform?

If you don't mind the small price, get Transmit. Hands down the best client for OS X. |

FileZilla has versions for Mac, Linux, and Windows. It is also free and open source. |

The Finder opens FTP sites and you can transfer files that way without external software. Cmd + K opens a window to open a server. |
