For more detailed information on exFAT there is a paper in the SANS reading room: http://www.sans.org/reading_room/whitepapers/forensics/reverse-engineering-microsoft-exfat-file-system_33274 Basically, there is no "convert" function between exFAT and other formats. You can't convert to exFAT, and you can't convert exFAT to FAT. Only conversions to NTFS are supported. In your case, you need to copy all your files to a backup drive, reformat th USB device, and themn copy the files back. But keep in mind that if you have filoes > 4gb, they won't copy onto the FAT32 because FAT32 does not support it. | |||

exfat format features of windows 7.. it is faster and gives more space specially large hdds... but you can't use exfat format any other OS's like win xp ... you can format your usb flash ... go to usb flsh right click then select Format select desired file system which is oyu want as fat32 also select quick format then click to start ...thats does the job ;) ... but be sure that you have nothing important on that usb flash disk ;) | |||
