I'm looking for a CPU/GPU temperature monitor with live logging that's also free. This question recommended some good software but doesn't meet my needs.

I tried HWMonitor and it works great except it doesn't have live logging. I need live logging because the system I'm using seems to overheat and shutdown (assuming it's related to overheating) and I'd like to catch the failing point.

I was wondering if Everest home edition can live update CPU temperature. Why I cannot find this in mine? –  Tim Nov 14 '10 at 15:32

Where are the logs located? The help file doesn't mention any logging capabilities. And as with Tim, I'm unable to see CPU/GPU temps. The sensors panel is simply empty. –  Lèse majesté May 9 '12 at 18:31
