I want to know if it's possible to use the Samsung s7220 as a modem for a notebook / PC?

Yes, you would probably have install the software suite for you to use this function. You would also need a method of connection such as bluetooth or usb.

Bear in mind, however, that unless you are on an ulimited data plan things can get expensive, quickly (my moblie provider charges £4/mb) and it won't be that quick, unless you have 3G on your phone.

Hey and thanks for your answer. Speed doesn't really matter for me (but it supports HSDPA so it should not be very slow I hope..). It should be just a "emergency solution", and it seems it can be one ;) – ben May 25 '10 at 19:48
