I have a Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000. I have followed online forum directions to get the camera working, but I have never been able to get the microphone to work. It works fine in Vista. Anyone have any tips?

That got video going. There doesn't seem to be any good answers for audio (see ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1333343&page=2). – JohnMcG May 28 '10 at 13:27
