what is your (subscription free) solution to share a presentation with a number of users (below 50) that works without plug-ins in a browser and allows the presentation to be centrally controlled (and thus prevents participating users from "flipping forward")?

I won't need print, save as or offline features, just showing and controlling a presentation centrally.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Why not host an online meeting on your desktop, share the desktop and have people attend the meeting ? – Sathya Jun 9 '10 at 19:24
I don't think that works well in my case: If I use an online meeting software, my "no plug-in" requirement is violated and if I use a standard presentation with remote desktop / VNC etc. its outside the browser and I run into firewall issues. I looked quite a bit around and e.g. the Google Docs solution is good the issue is that I can't remote control the presentation there. – Greg Joshner Jun 9 '10 at 19:31
