I have outlook 2007. Is there a way in 2007 or the 2010 version to have all the emails posted to read for a certain contact. When I click history it takes about 2 minutes for it to load and is frustrating. As simple as this seems I simply want to see all the emails gone back and forth with a contact when I open that contact.

If you are using an exchange server or IMAP protocol the reason it is slow could be that it needs to retrieve all that from the server (which itself may be slow). – Daisetsu Jun 16 '10 at 17:02
Is your Outlook set to Cache Mode enabled? – r0ca Jun 16 '10 at 17:37
@Daisetsu: Wouldn't POP3 be slower since it has to download all messages to be stored locally whereas IMAP can read/download only on demand? Also, could it be slow because you're not archiving/deleting your emails? If you have tens of thousands or more emails in your inbox, then that could slow things down quite a bit. – Lèse majesté Mar 30 at 9:52

Take a look at XOBNI, its an Outlook Addin that gives you all sorts of interesting information about emails and contacts. You can see who sends the most e-mail, what time of day/day of week they send e-mail, see all messages to that person, etc. XOBNI.com

you should create a list and keep all the mail in relevant folder.. then you may easily filter the particular contact emails.
