Try holding shift while resizing, normally works for most apps.

You looked through the manual too? – Christoffer Madsen Jun 18 '10 at 13:18

Manual doesn't say much about scaling by mouse, only by value. – Pablo Jun 18 '10 at 13:22

It seems like the official manual says that it is shift. "Resize and keep aspect ratio ----- Select, then (shift sign)-drag a resize handle!-" omnigroup.com/ftp/pub/software/macosx/Manuals/… Page 97 – Christoffer Madsen Jun 18 '10 at 13:23

Yes! the shift key works on Omnigraffle. Thanks, it a life saver. – Phani Aug 29 '13 at 6:11
