Got a user who can't log into his computer. NO account, even the administrator account, will authenticate. Tried resetting the password, everything looks OK as far as account details in AD. Any ideas?

Is the account locked out? Can you give us more details please? Are you loging to the local computer or the domain? – r0ca Jun 22 '10 at 15:27
Trying to log into the domain, ultimately. As I said, the account details are fine in AD so it isn't locked out and no other setting is out of the ordinary. I can't even get logged in locally with the administrator account on this - nothing works. – stayinwett Jun 22 '10 at 15:28
What does it say/do when you try to log on? Have you checked access from another domain system to things like the event logs, WMI, file shares, etc.? – techie007 Jun 22 '10 at 15:31
ahh have you rebooted, yet? – user33788 Jun 22 '10 at 15:32
Yeah of course restarted, but that didn't work. Techie I'm not sure what you mean by checking if he has access to even logs etc. on a different domain system.. I was able to log into his account fine with another computer on the domain and everything acted as it should have. Ended up just re-imaging the machine to save time, though. Thanks for the help. – stayinwett Jun 22 '10 at 18:08
