I've recently made my laptop to run on dual boot between Ubuntu 10.4 and Windows 7 64 bit. Now my problem is I don't know how to install my laptop drivers for Ubuntu. My laptop didn't include any CDs when I bought it so I guess I have to manually download my drivers. However, I know that Ubuntu systems can't run .exe files. So if anyone knows how to install my drivers for Ubuntu, please let me know :D

Btw, I've already installed VGA Drivers for ubuntu by System > Administration > Hardware Drivers.

What drivers are you looking for? Is there any piece of hardware which is not working? Ubuntu detects a lot of devices automatically and installs the drivers. BTW, I think you messed up the title a little. – Om Nom Nom Jun 26 '10 at 17:14

for the microphone, just run the mixer application and check if the volume is zero. Usually a microphone (attached to a sound card) will work when the sound card is working - unless the recording volume is zero. For the webcam, check Google for linux driver and the name of your webcam (or the USB device ID that is printed by lsusb). – mihi Jun 26 '10 at 18:10
