Since some moment, my windows xp sp3 stops assigning a letter on removable drive insertion. How should I fix this? The only way have I is manual assigning a letter via comp. management from control panel, then drives management. it is a sort of nightmare.

I assume these are formatted drives, XP will not assign letters to non partitioned drives – Moab Jul 9 '10 at 17:31
yes, all drives are formated and can be assigned letter manually – osgx Jul 30 '10 at 21:16
