I am physically located in Canada running Ubuntu Linux who is trying to purchase an eBook from eBooks.com. However, a lot of the titles are restricted to American buyers only. Hence I would like to know what would be a good VPN provider for me to use in order to get the eBooks I want (as I am having a hard time finding viable alternatives). Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Wouldn't they get a little suspicious when you give them a Canadian shipping address? – David Zaslavsky Jul 9 '10 at 1:24
No, as an ebook is downloaded after purchase, not shipped. – stanigator Jul 9 '10 at 1:39
Oh, *e*book... silly me, I misread the question. – David Zaslavsky Jul 9 '10 at 3:05

I've been happy with PublicVPN.com. I don't know of any national or geographic restrictions.

I'm looking for solutions that can support Linux. I'm wondering if there are free or cheap options. – stanigator Jul 9 '10 at 1:56
Does Linux not have a built-in VPN client? – JRobert Jul 9 '10 at 12:29
