Man I am sick of crappy ADSL modems. Whether it is their slow and buggy restarts, or the slow download speeds on torrents or the fact that they die after 1 year of usage.

Can someone recommend me a ADSL modem (router part is optional) that will just WORK?

My last one, Netgear dg834g - really disappointing, and now the red light is always ON and I am sick of it.

Anyone seen some current reviews of ADSL routers?

ADSL as technology has problems. I am not sure what you describe is all your modem. slow torrent might be traffic shaping by your ISP – txwikinger Jul 10 '10 at 0:32
I have Comcast internet and torrenting with them is crap. +1 to txwikinger. – johnthexiii Jul 10 '10 at 1:14
