I have some old music files that I want to put on my iPhone, listen to them, then decide if I want to delete or keep them from my iTunes music collection permanently.

Is there an easy or automated way to do this? At the moment I'm having to automatically drag each file over; the ones I don't like, I rate a 1-star; then later (back at my desk) I have to delete those 1-star files.

Help?

What would you expect such a method to do for you? Automatically delete the songs? You could always just sit down for a little while and listen to them in iTunes and delete from there, instead of transferring to the iPhone, listening, rating, then going back to iTunes to delete it. – John T Jul 13 '10 at 2:34
Ideally, I throw all my "unheard" songs on a list. Have iTunes put as much of that list onto my iphone. Then, from my phone, while the song is playing, I tap once (or twice) somehow, to indicate I want the song deleted. On the next sync, the song is permanently deleted, and more songs from the list are loaded on. Make sense? – user35503 Jul 13 '10 at 2:38
