I'm using Windows 7 with a multi-touch screen.

Does anyone has got a clue how to:

  • disable the page zoom / view->zoom in Google Chrome completely (or)
  • disable just this particular multi-touch gesture in Windows 7.

The main problem is basically:

  • If I disabled the multi-touch gestures, chrome doesn't react as nicely anymore (no double click & the JavaScript based swiping is not as responsible anymore).
  • If the multi-touch gestures are enabled the user is able to zoom the page via 2 finger multi-touch.

The best solution would be to disable page zoom in chrome, but how?

Any ideas?

Did you find a solution to this topic? I also have a multi-touch display running Windows 7 and I want to build a web application based on Sencha Touch which can be used with iPad and multi-touch display. So everything works on the mt display except the pinch gesture because Chrome is handling it by default zoom in/out. So I also want to disable this. – Tim Sep 28 '10 at 15:32
