I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard from Leopard and now my VPN connection doesn't allow me to connect to my vpn servers via sftp. Anyone have this issue?

Error message? Type of VPN? Can you access other resources at the VPN site? – ridogi Jul 15 '10 at 17:32
So, you're saying that you can make still make a VPN connection to your VPN servers, but when you have the VPN connection up and then try to make an SFTP connection to an SFTP service that happens to be running on the same machine as the VPN server, the SFTP connection doesn't work? – Spiff Jul 15 '10 at 19:44
@ridogi. Thanks for the response. I'm using SL's built in VPN to connect to Data Return, which looks to be connecting fine, but when I try to connect to any of their servers via sftp using Trasnmit 4.0.6 I get an error: Could not connect to server “X.XX.XX.XX”. The user name or password was not accepted by the server. The site may be inaccessible or your password may be incorrect. Please double-check your login settings Also, when I ping any of the servers I get: Request timeout for icmp_seq 0 @Spiff I'm connecting to a remote server via sftp – Eric Jul 22 '10 at 16:43
What is Data Return? Can you successfully ping anything else at the site, like the device serving the VPN for example? You're using a local IP to sftp into correct? Is the VPN giving you an IP? – ridogi Jul 22 '10 at 18:37
