My mom wants to get a PNY memory card for her digital camera and she wants to use it with her computer as well. Do they make good memory cards? Is it just a better idea to go with SanDisk?

I think you mean PNY. I think most major brands of memory cards are good. I find it is a good idea to find one that has a long or lifetime warrenty. There are different series of memory cards from each company. If speed is concern, you would want to look at the high performance versions. You said this is for a digital camera, so I think just a standard card should serve her well.

Fixed the naming. – Diago Jul 31 '09 at 16:55
To be honest I bought a SD card from PNY and the clip to lock/unlock writes broke off (it really just fell off) in the locked position. Contact PNY and they said they wouldn't replace it because it was "damaged" and wasn't covered under warranty. So I would stay away from PNY, as they don't seem to want to back their products. – Nathan Adams Aug 15 '10 at 15:25
