The built in software of the my friend's CCTV board is really bad! There is some nice CCTV software (free is better)?

The CCTV board shows images from 4 security cams simultaneously.

PS.: I'm using Windows 7.

I would have a look at http://www.newfreedownloads.com/find/cctv.html and see what they have there. I like the look of MMS Digital Video Recorder 1.6, it is free to try but it costs USD$39.

I wil update this list as I find better options.
