Is this possible?

I have two mice connected at once (one on each side, so I can swap hands to help ease RSI). One is a 5 button mouse, the other 3 buttons.

I like to set the 3 button's third button to Mac's expose, but the button I'd like to use for this on the 5 button mouse is the fifth button. Is it possible to change the fifth button to the third on this mouse?

Or could you suggest an alternative solution? Thanks.

I don't know how you'll fare with OS X alone, but there is 3rd party software that can probably help you out with this. The first that comes to mind is USB Overdrive.
