well that's all... I try it ubuntu lucid, because so far, it's the most common (on all MY search) distro used on toshiba satellite laptops, but all mention it's about how buggy works... I don't want to use windows 7 on my laptop,... please... help to find a nice linux distro for my laptop

Well .. for start I need to start with acpi=off... then I cannot detect wired nor wireless network... I know I can start install a couple of software and exec one or two workaround... but it's for me a bad sigh when your installation is the first problem... that's why I want to try another distro – raulricardo21 Jul 26 '10 at 15:16
