Name of Online Code Markup Engine [closed]

Question

Ok, I'm looking for the name of a website. What this website does is take code in almost any language, and apply color markup to it. Does anyone know the name of this website?

Edit: The specific website that I used had a really good UI. I'm not sure how to describe it, but here goes: The entry text box was on the left side. The UI was very clean and simple.

I figured it out. I was using Pastie.

Pastebin probably also does what you want : you can :

• paste some piece of code
• choose the language for syntax coloration
• have the code be kept for only one day, one month, or forever
• it has pretty short URLs

Else, if your are not looking for a website that keeps your code and allows you to share it, you might take a look at a PHP library called GeSHi -- that one is integrated in many PHP software

i use to use http://rafb.net/paste/ but it went down so i use http://www.pastie.org/ there is also http://www.privatepaste.com/ for code or just plain questions you want up for a long time (or short)

and http://www.codepaste.net has become one of my favs since it tracks all your paste.

To HTML should do what you want.

Colorer has as web interface for running files through the parser. Since the library has real grammars for the languages this won't always work properly with incomplete code snippets, but on the other hand can outline errors (such as mismatched tags in XML, or missing braces in C) as well.
