I am using wireless on my Open Solaris laptop. I have an Intel 4965 (iwk driver).

The interesting thing is it usually times out whenever I upload anything. For instance, I have a local hudson server and it periodically fails because it cannot upload artifacts. It rarely fails because it cannot download or fetch updates. Also, I use web services which I upload some information to and those usually timeout as well.

All of these things work fine on my Linux laptop, so it is definitely not the network.

I looked at dmesg, and I am apparently having firmware issues. This would explain the intermittent network errors. Jul 30 23:01:47 opensolaris iwk: [ID 925725 kern.warning] WARNING: fatal firmware error – Walter White Jul 31 '10 at 3:25
I am on snv_111, I tried to update to snv_134, but my system restart immediately. I don't have any errors in the logs from what I can tell. – Walter White Jul 31 '10 at 14:20
