I have a program pinned to the taskbar. After I upgraded the program (I think) the icon broke. What I get now is what you see below; that ugly default application icon thing.
If I unpin it, I get the correct icon. If I then right-click on it, the icon breaks again. If I pin it again, still the broken icon. Unpin again and back to good icon. Very annoying. How can I fix this?

I have this issue and it looks like a LOT of versions of chrome have had this. Nothing I've done has fixed it, though most people said it will fix itself with an update eventually. I will mention that if you don't totally hate small icons (like I do), the small icon works fine, right clicking and all. Also, the "related issue" post by the other user has nothing to do with it and I don't have the folder that their solution tells me to delete. | |||
