Im wondering if anyone knows if any free/open source OCR software (hopefully even anything command line or coding based) that can detect and reproduce data tables in digital form?
This stems from wanting to get data tables out of pdfs (a pipe dream at best) so has lead me to OCR instead.
With large amounts of data as well it would have to be able to work in batches.
Any thoughts on apps, code, librarys or anything please post.
